This is a design from Simon in which he combines geometric patterns and sgraffito techniques, taking inspiration from freely drawn abstracted patterns and mark making. A lovely bold free design.
Earthenware clay hand decorated with coloured slips by Simon Sharp, the son of renowned potter Pru Green, and is now a very well regarded and much collected potter in his own right.
Each piece is hand thrown and hand decorated making each piece unique. As every piece is different I have photograped each piece individually from several angles.
